Bio

Eric N Livingston Eric has had quite an exciting 30 years on this earth. Born in Columbia, SC, Eric moved with his family to San Antonio, TX, at the age of 2. Eric grew up at Northside Church of Christ and graduated from Douglas MacArthur High School. He is a Texan, through and through.

After he graduated in the spring of 1995, he married Dixie Diane Beasley on Aug 5, 1995. Eric "married up" as they say. Every day he gets to spend with Dixie is a thrill for him. Dixe and Eric headed off to Searcy, AR to attend Harding University in the fall of '95. While that was a great experience, they decided to return to San Antonio to attend the University of Texas at San Antonio, in an attempt to reduce the mounting student loan debt.

After a couple of years of odd jobs and attending UTSA, Eric decided to enlist in the United States Air Force. Eric served 6 years as Hebrew Cryptologic Linguist. During that time, Eric and Dixie were stationed in Monterey, CA (tough assignment!) and Augusta, GA. They were able to form many lasting friendships and see a lot of God's creation. Also during that time, Eric and Dixie had two boys, Isaac (2000) and Ethan (2004). Eric also finished his B.S. in Management of Information Systems.

After separating from the USAF, Eric and Dixie returned to San Antonio. Eric began working for SAIC as a contractor for the USAF. He was the Information Security Officer for a web application development shop. In 2005, Eric and Dixie were blessed with another addition to their family, Jaylie Grace.

Eric has always been involved in his local church. God blessed him with the ability to carry a tune, and he has used that gift for the glory of God in corporate worship settings. Over the course of about 10 years, the Lord worked on Eric's heart as He called Eric into full time ministry. In the fall of 2005 Eric finally decided he would make himself available for full time ministry positions and accepted the Associate Minister position at the Meadowbrook Church of Christ that winter.

Eric continues to be amazed at how the Lord is using him in Jackson, MS. For the first time in his life, he feels fulfilled in his work and knows that this is where the Lord wants him. While he is still growing as a minister he strives to mature in Christ so that he can always be learning how to show Christ's love to others.
